We did at one time have a 'captcha', the system that ensures that a human is 'at the controls' rather that a robot, but we removed it after complaints about the difficulty people were having, namely, they would lose their items sometimes if it took too long to complete the captcha.
We do not know whether the scammers are a commercial entity(ies) or just enthusiastic customers, but we urge whoever is doing this to stop. It is not a practice we wish to allow, and will definitely blacklist the IP addresses that send any requests of this nature. Also if it continues, we may well have to reinstate the captcha, to ensure a degree of fair play.
If you have any contact with someone who is doing this, please urge them to consider all of the legitimate people who try with an honest and fair approach to buy from us. Thank you."
