The tables below sort the carriers available in the Sling Library by minimum seat width, and by maximum waist length, to help you compare each carrier. A few things to bear in mind:
- These are measurements taken by Eastbourne Sling Library. They may vary between individual carriers.
- Many of these carriers will have seat darts, enabling a deeper seat to be achieved. This means that two carriers with the same width may fit differently knee-to-knee.
- How a carrier is worn makes a real difference to how well the child fits the seat of the carrier.
- Comparing measurements gives an idea of relative size but is no substitute for actually trying a carrier out for yourself. If you can try and compare a few at a Sling Meet or Consultation this will really help you decide which is right for you.
